Spice Grinder was a solid pick

Just got their Spice Grinder and it's pretty cool. I was just browsing and thought it looked handy for my whole spices, which it is. It's not super fancy but it works, and it feels sturdy. Shipping took about a week, which was okay. It just makes cooking a bit easier, grinding fresh before adding. Happy with it.

Good first buy, worth it

I finally pulled the trigger on Diaspora Co. and got the Essentials Trio. I used the 10% off for first-time buyers, which was nice. Shipping was free because the total was over $50. The Pragati Turmeric and Nandini Coriander are really good, a noticeable difference from my old spices. It felt like a good deal overall for the quality I received.

Reliable quality spices

This was my third time ordering from Diaspora Co. I needed to restock my Aranya Peppercorn and decided to try the Guntur Sannam Chilli too. They're consistently good, always fresh and fragrant. My last order, a couple months ago, also arrived pretty fast, and this one was no different, took about 4 days to get to me in California. I keep coming back because I know what I'm getting, and it's always top-notch, no surprises.

Thinking of getting some stuff from here, but that price tag is a bit high compared to regular grocery store spices. Is it really that much better?

R Richard 3 weeks ago
Oh, 100%. The quality is insane. You don't need to use as much, and the flavor is way more intense. Totally worth it for the 'wow' factor in your cooking.

I was skeptical too but honestly, you can taste the difference. Especially the turmeric and peppercorns. It's like night and day compared to those dusty jars at the supermarket. Plus, knowing where it comes from is a nice bonus.

Can I use two coupon codes at once? Got one from a friend and also signed up for the newsletter so I have that 10% off too.

H Hannah Robinson 1 month ago
Nah, they usually only let you use one code per order. Tried it before, didn't work for me.

Pretty sure most places, including Diaspora, have a 'one coupon per order' rule. You'll probably have to pick the better deal.

Does anyone know if their saffron is actually real? Some companies out there sell fake stuff and I don't want to get ripped off.

A Abigail Scott 1 week ago
Yeah, it's legit. Diaspora is all about transparency and quality sourcing, so I wouldn't worry about them selling fake anything. Their saffron is gorgeous.

They're super upfront about where everything comes from and how they ensure quality. I've bought their saffron multiple times and it's always been fantastic, smells incredible.

Hey, wondering if anyone knows how long shipping usually takes for Diaspora Co. to like, Chicago? Trying to plan a dinner party and need that turmeric!

E Eric Rivera 3 weeks ago
Mine got to NYC in about 5 days, I think. So Chicago should be pretty similar, probably a week max.

Yeah, I got my last order in California in about 4-6 business days. They're usually pretty quick with processing.
